CODE OF CONDUCT

Theater is a shared human experience. As an audience member, volunteer, office manager, or paid consultant, we want you all to have the best experience at the show. As an audience member, you are essential to this theatrical experience, by helping maintain the sanctity of this space.


Ti-Ahwaga Community Players promises to provide a safe, respectful, inclusive and fun environment for everyone to enjoy live theater and events. Our code applies to guests, staff, volunteers, vendors, guests, trustees and press will be held to the same standards, ultimately, anyone who enters our theater space.



Our Expectations


To that end, we reserve the right to remove any person (or online comment) that consists of personal attacks, threats, discriminatory language, harassment, explicit content, off topic remarks, or promotional material.



Furthermore, we will not tolerate:


· Unwanted invasion of another person’s physical space.

· Abusive or harassing behavior

· Ignoring or talking over staff who are trying to assist you.

· Creating a hostile environment for fellow audience members, students, artists or staff.

(Please note, patrons removed due to violations of our Code of Conduct will not receive a refund)


WHAT TO DO


If you witness or experience behavior that violates the values and expectations outlined above, please alert an usher, a house manager, office manager or another member of the staff. TCP staff, supported by the Board of Directors, will take action to protect our community, with consequences up to and including removal from TCP activities. To file a formal complaint, email info@tiahwaga.com All complaints will be investigated. Please provide detailed information and your contact information.

About TCP

Ti-Ahwaga Community Players is a non-profit organization, incorporated in 1960, that has been producing quality live theatre here locally, and encouraging the intellectual, moral, and social advancement of its members. In 2001, the Ti-Ahwaga Performing Arts Center, TCP's new permanent home, opened its doors.

Our address is 42 Delphine Street, Owego, NY 13827. Our theater seats 156 people at tables of 2 or 4. We have a small kitchen where we offer refreshments and warm foods, such as soups, desserts, candy, chips, non-alcoholic & limited alcoholic beverages. No outside food or beverage is permitted at TCP.


Accessibility

 TCP is accessible to people who need special accommodations. We offer limited handicap parking, tables with wheel chair accessibility and an outdoor ramp, and Listening Assist devices (ask at the Box Office).


Renting the Ti-Ahwaga Performing Arts Center for an event

 TCP welcomes outside groups! Rent the facility for plays, live music, comedians, meetings, film screenings, private productions, fundraisers, and more!  For more information, please contact TCP at 607-687-2130 or info@tiahwaga.com


Ticket Policies

All sales are final. If you are unable to attend a show for which you have purchased tickets (due to illness, emergency, inclement weather, etc.), please contact our box office as soon as possible and ask to exchange the tickets for another performance date. If an event is canceled, we will do our best to announce it.

 Ti-Ahwaga Community Players' mission is to stimulate, promote, and encourage the active participation of local community members who are interested in theatre, to enhance cultural values in the community, and to work for the intellectual, moral, and social advancement of everyone involved.
