"Avenue Q", with book by Jeff Whitty and music & lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, is a zany musical comedy that uses puppets alongside human actors to tell the story of a recent college grad, named Princeton, who moves into a shabby New York apartment on Avenue Q. In this adult-themed spoof on Sesame Street, Princeton soon discovers that although the residents seem nice, it’s clear that this is not your ordinary neighborhood. Princeton and his friends struggle to find jobs, dates, and their ever-elusive purpose in life.
