The Full Monty is the Americanized staged version of the 1997 British film of the same name. It boasts a book by Terrence McNally and a score by David Yazbek and was nominated for nine Tony awards, including Best Musical when it stunned its way onto Broadway in 2000. The Full Monty follows six down-on-their luck steelworkers, relocated to Buffalo, New York, who are desperately seeking employment and a paycheck to support their families—until they come up with a bold way to make some quick cash. As the guys work through their fears, self-consciousness, feelings of worthlessness and anxieties, they come to discover that not only are they stronger as a group, but that the strength they find in each other gives them the individual courage to face their demons and overcome them.

Comedic playwright, Neil Simon graces the Ti-Ahwaga stage with one of his 30 celebrated works, Plaza Suite. Hilarity abounds in this portrait of three couples successively occupying a suite at the Plaza—a suburban couple, a Hollywood producer, and a mother and father fighting about the best way to get their daughter out of the bathroom and down to the ballroom where guests await her or as Mother yells, “I want you to come out of that bathroom and get married!”
