The Ti-Ahwaga Community Players truly honor the "Community" part of their name by always welcoming new members, whether their interests lie on stage or backstage. Though the group is based in Owego, NY, its members come from many surrounding communities and are comprised of a wide spectrum of society. Artists, students, homemakers, business owners, and professionals all work together to make live theater happen right here in Tioga County.

Over the years, the group performed in schools, churches, community halls, and hotels. You name the place and they probably either played there or very seriously considered it.

In 1997, the Ti-Ahwaga Community Players took a great leap into the unknown and purchased a building which became their permanent home. The former food processing plant has been transformed into a quality theater space that the players hope all members of the community can benefit from.
